These new ideas of the EV cars and Project Better Place? They have mentioned that the idea of swappable batteries would help to spread out the energy demands of the cars (so, instead of everyone charging at night, the person might put in a fresh battery that had charged during the day with solar power). . I would like to see our roofs as solar panels. Roofs are just sitting there, day after day, why not use them? Sure, it may not be enough to power your entire house every day, but if it even did *some* that would be great, and it might (in some locales) produce a lot. Yeah, I know that some places get snow, but not all do, so fit what works with the right place :D . And pretty much every cell tower could have solar or a wind turbine of some type with it. .
