OK. So the iPhone is, like, god’s phone, so where is my universal translator, damn it? Let your iPhone translate any speech (through the microphone) into your native language (through the ear bud).
Where? WHERE?!

Google iPhone app with speech recognition PLUS http://www.google.com/m/translate

So I was in a relatively noisy car on Saturday, on the highway…. and was able to use the voice recognition feature of Google Mobile, on Edge, with NO problem at all. I tried directly into the iPhone, and also using the built-in mic with my iPhone earbuds, both cases worked fine. It got all the strange requests I gave it.
.
Like, did you know the Corn Palace is in South Dakota?
.
I agree with Sharkey, it’s just a short pairing then with a translator.
.
Just wait, though, til the translator starts correcting you (”Hey hey hey, you should have said….” or “OMG YOU SAID…”)
.
LOL
